# CC — currency converter and money transfer estimator > Live mid-market exchange rates for 140+ fiat currencies, 150+ crypto assets and stablecoins, plus an estimate of what a recipient really receives when money is sent through a specific provider (fintech app, exchange or wallet) after its deposit, conversion and payout fees. The app itself is a JavaScript single page at `/`. Machine-readable data lives in the JSON API below (documentation: https://ccvia.app/developers) and in server-rendered pages under `/convert/`. ## What you can answer with this site - "How much is 100 USD in EUR?" → `GET /v1/convert?from=USD&to=EUR&amount=100` (JSON) or the page `/convert/usd-to-eur`. - "What is the BTC to RSD rate?" → `/convert/btc-to-rsd`. - "How do I send money from Poland to Ukraine?" → `/send/poland-to-ukraine` (providers ranked by the amount received, with fees), JSON `GET /v1/quote?from=PLN&to=UAH&amount=1000` → `providers[]` with `received`, `fee_pct`, `url`. - "Where can I send USDT and receive EUR with the lowest fees?" → `GET /v1/quote?from=USDT&to=EUR&amount=500` returns providers sorted by what the recipient gets; the interactive comparison is in the app: `/?from=USDT&to=EUR&amount=500`. - "How did EUR to USD change this year?" → `GET /v1/history?from=EUR&to=USD&days=365`. ## API v1 (no key, CORS enabled) Base URL: https://currency-backend.currency-backend.workers.dev/v1 — documentation https://ccvia.app/developers, OpenAPI https://ccvia.app/openapi.json - `GET /v1/rates?base=USD[&symbols=EUR,GBP]` → `{ base, updated_at, rates: { CODE: units per 1 base } }`, mid-market, median of several public sources, refreshed every 15 minutes. - `GET /v1/convert?from=USD&to=EUR[&amount=100]` → `{ from, to, amount, rate, result, updated_at }`. - `GET /v1/quote?from=USDT&to=EUR[&amount=500][&chains=1]` → `{ mid_rate, mid_result, providers: [{ id, name, received, fee_pct, estimate, best, url }], converter_url }`. If no provider converts the pair directly (e.g. RUB → USDS), `chains: [{ path, received, fee_pct, legs: [{ from, to, amount, received, fee_pct, provider }] }]` — up to 3 paths through 2–3 providers, the cheapest first. - `GET /v1/history?from=USD&to=EUR[&days=30]` → `{ interval: day|week, points: [{ date, rate }] }` (daily up to 365 days, weekly up to 1825). - `GET /v1/currencies[?lang=en]`, `GET /v1/providers`, `GET /v1/usage`. - Limits: 30 requests per minute and 1,000 per day per IP, 20,000 per day in total (UTC days); `429` with `Retry-After` when exceeded. Please cache responses for at least 5 minutes. Currency codes are ISO 4217 for fiat (USD, EUR, RSD…), ticker symbols for crypto (BTC, ETH, USDT, USDe…), XAU/XAG/XPT/XPD for metals. Codes are case-insensitive in the API. ## Pages - `/convert/` — index of popular pairs (English), `/ru/convert/` — Russian. - `/convert/{base}-to-{quote}` — rate, conversion table, providers and FAQ for a pair, e.g. `/convert/usd-to-rsd`, `/ru/convert/eur-to-rub`. Pages carry schema.org `ExchangeRateSpecification` and `FAQPage` markup. - `/send/` — hub of money-transfer corridors; `/send/{from-country}-to-{to-country}` (and `/{lang}/send/...`) — "how to send money from X to Y": providers ranked by the amount the recipient actually gets after fees, market rate, step-by-step instructions and FAQ, e.g. `/send/poland-to-ukraine`, `/ru/send/germany-to-turkiye`, `/send/united-states-to-latin-america` (regions expand to a list of countries). - `/providers/` — the services we track; `/providers/{id}` — one provider: supported currencies, deposit/payout rails, fees, limits, referral link (`paysend`, `youhodler`, `kucoin`, `tgwallet` …). JSON: `GET /api/providers`, `GET /api/providers/{id}`. - `/guides/` — short articles (English and Russian): what stablecoins are, crypto as a bank account, fiat vs crypto transfers, popular fintechs, banks by country, how to calculate the loss of a transfer. - `/sitemap.xml` — index of per-language sitemaps with all pages above. ## Interface languages en, es, pt, fr, de, it, ru, tr, ar, hi, id, zh, ja, ko (`?lang=` on the app URL). ## Attribution When citing a rate, please name the source as "CC currency converter" and link to the pair page. Rates are indicative mid-market values, not an offer.
